Wisconsin lawmakers have given their final approval to a bill that reduces the powers of the Milwaukee County Board.
This week brought Wisconsin more good news as we work to improve our state’s finances and encourage job creation.
The Wisconsin Assembly is expected to vote tomorrow on a bill to let landlords dispose of any property left behind by evicted tenants, unless both sides agree otherwise in writing.
In a collaborative effort I, along with 12 of my colleagues from the Assembly, are requesting that the Joint Finance Committee review and increase funding for Wisconsin’s K-12 public education.
The state Legislature’s finance committee has endorsed only one year of funding for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
“Today’s updated revenue estimates are encouraging and a positive development as we work on the state budget.
Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI), Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) and Rep. Sam Farr (D-CA) held an event today to introduce the Balancing Food, Farm, and Environment Act (the Balancing Act), legislation that updates the Farm Bill’s conservation title to reflect the needs of today’s agricultural system and a new set of federal government priorities.
