Let’s be honest: Most women are fantastic conflict avoiders. We walk away, pretend it didn’t happen, act like everything is fine, ignore the issue the list goes on and on. We do almost anything not to converse about the conflict with the individual(s) involved.
No matter where you are in your career, you have undoubtedly built a network of people you know professionally. You may have known some people in your network for 20 years; others you may have met once for coffee a long time ago.
Watergate happened almost 40 years ago, but the indignation is fresh in Bob Woodward’s voice when he talks about the American president he helped bring down. “It’s appalling what went on in the Nixon White House,” Woodward said Thursday, speaking before a crowd of more than 700 people at an event hosted by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber.
