United Airlines announced Tuesday it will add flights between Williston and Denver, but letting the planes land was still up to the City Commission, which must balance short-term need for air service and long-term plans for its airport.
Dickinson’s Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport may be losing customers to the Bismarck Airport, but business is still booming, officials said.
How bad was it? This bad: Back in 1998, North Dakota was so desperate to lure another airline to the state that airport officials from Grand Forks, Minot, Bismarck and Fargo all cooperated to lure that service to Fargo.
United Airlines will add service to Grand Forks International Airport, according to a news release from Gov. Jack Dalrymple’s office.
