The Alerus Center Commission is moving quickly to get new turf in place by the next football season. Construction needs to begin this spring, but the project hasn’t been officially put out for bids.
As an indoor football venue, the Alerus Center cannot host games on real grass, but for $4 million, it can have something almost as good.
