Alerus Center to save on financing of turf; UND agrees to pay more than half of $3.83 million cost

The Alerus Center will pay for the replacement of its artificial turf in one year instead of three, saving $99,850 in finance costs. The Events Center Commission has reached an agreement with UND for the university to provide $2 million of the cost of the facility’s new playing surface and related mechanical systems.
