Reports show wide variance in campaign finance

District 20 legislative candidates show a great disparity on how they raised money and how much they raised to run for office this year.
The pre-election filing deadline for campaign finance reports was Oct. 22.

The candidates for the Senate seat representing Aurora and Davison counties state Sen. Public forum on local issues is tonight at MTI

Candidates for the state Senate and a discussion of Sunday off-sale of alcoholic beverages will be featured at the second of two political forums in Mitchell tonight.

Local forums planned for Oct. 19, 26

The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring candidate and issues forums each of the next two Tuesdays.
It has invited eight candidates appearing on the ballot for the Nov. 2 general election. The events will begin at 7 p.m. on both days in the Mitchell Technical Institute Technology Center amphitheater, at 1800 E.
