State park employees got their jobs back last week when the government shutdown ended and were happy to find the ground fairly free of any signs of 20 days with no one taking care of them. Continue Reading
Unfortunately, the shutdown means there are no facilities open at state parks, most importantly toilets.
The lingering state government shutdown has had its effects on Lake County, especially at the state parks connected by Highway 61.
