A major oil player needs to “get his act together” before he can build a natural gas processing facility near Patterson Lake, said Jay Elkin, Stark County Zoning Board commissioner.
Stark County Zoning Board members rejected every request to build more housing during Thursday’s hearing to amend the county’s zoning ordinance, which took place in the commissioner’s room at the Stark County Courthouse in Dickinson.
Despite its initial goal to change zoning restrictions, an Oklahoma company interested in building an oil waste facility near Belfield requested their own project be put on the back burner.
