Scranton native reportedly to appear on ‘The Voice’

Kat Perkins will reportedly be the second North Dakotan to appear on the NBC TV series “The Voice.”
Perkins, the lead singer of Scarlet Haze and Dirty Word, grew up near Scranton. She is now based in Minneapolis.

Chicago singer to perform Great Lakes stories in TH

Songs of the sea have long entertained sailors and landlubbers, but soon Lake Countians will have an opportunity to hear music about bodies of water closer to home. Lee Murdock, a historical folk singer, is coming to Two Harbors next week to perform songs about the Great Lakes. Performing up to 150 shows every year, Murdock travels for performances throughout the Great Lakes region, as well as the rest of the United States and Canada.
