Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack told members of Congress in a letter Friday that the department will do away with daily and weekly limits of meats and grains.
A flickering fluorescent light hovering over a stainless steel counter where bleak-faced school children shuffle their feet through the lunch line to receive their mystery meat patty on a bun with a side of syrupy fruit substance and an unfulfilled midday meal.
We fondly remember the days of pizza, cheeseburgers and sticky macaroni-and-cheese at the school lunch counter.
