Police announced a suspect has been arrested, following the investigation of the St. Croix Central Elementary School fire at a community meeting held by the St. Croix Central School District to update parents and community members on the latest developments regarding the efforts being made to resume classes.
A nonprofit organization, Wisconsin Northwest Heritage Passage, is sponsoring a day for citizens to visit five local art studios within the St. Croix Valley. The event is Saturday, April 27, beginning at 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Heartstrings quilting group met and completed many quilts at a sew-in held April 13 at the Warren Town Hall (just outside Roberts).
Long serving officers of municipalities in St. Croix County were recognized by the board of supervisors March 7. The St. Croix Valley Bird Club is sponsoring speaker Joanna Eckles on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Roberts Public Library, 311 West Warren St.
Sonia Kubesh has resigned from the Roberts Police Department following an internal investigation which was presented to the Roberts Village Board by Police Chief Daniel Burgess during a closed session at the Oct. 25 regular board meeting.
