LAKEFIELD A Lakefield mother and daughter are back at home after serving two weeks with the American Red Cross disaster response effort in New York City.
About 40 friends and family packed into cars and a mobile home Friday to make the trek from the most western part of North Dakota to Dickinson’s Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport to finally say hello to Josh Barthel face-to-face. The National Guard specialist arrived Friday night to welcome signs, balloons, cheers and hugs after a yearlong deployment in Kuwait.
ST. KILIAN The Misfits will be returning Saturday with their 24th annual production that is bound to send audience into fits of laughter.
WINDOM Aaron Backman will be returning to a familiar place when he begins his role as Windom’s Economic Development Authority director at the end of the month.
