After undefeated championship season, Red River starts with a pair of losses in 2012The Grand Forks Red River volleyball team might return three standouts, including the North Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year, from last season’s 36-0 state championship team, but the rest of the state isn’t ready to just hand over another state title in 2012.
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) – A Red River High School student’s artwork is getting national recognition. The teen entered a national Google competition and is one of 50 artists picked to compete in New York City.
When students, faculty and volunteers put on “Culture Night” at Red River High School last year, featuring foods and entertainment from countries around the world that have a presence at local schools, the event drew about 100 people. They’re looking to double or triple that number when they do it again on Tuesday.
