Grand Forks gets fund for regional transit

Ramsey County will receive the lion’s share of a $6 million state allocation to help pay the local matches for nearly $36.5 million in emergency road repair projects in the Devils Lake Basin. The North Dakota Legislature allocated $6 million to pay the local match of the projects on federal-aid roads, including U.S. Highway 281 and North Dakota Highways 19, 20 and 57 in the five basin counties: Benson, Eddy, Nelson, Ramsey and Towner. Those details were outlined in a criminal complaint, filed Friday in Ramsey County District Court, charging Haukos, 44, with second-degree murder in the death of Thomas Grover Stein.
