Leading up to the primaries this summer, Measure 2, the provision to abolish property taxes in North Dakota, garnered a lot of vocalization, both for and against.
Brace yourself, Grand Forks property owners. Your property taxes for parks and recreation are increasing by one mill. That’s a $4.50 hike for a $100,000 home and $9 for a $200,000 home. The increase will bring an additional $150,000 to the park district.
