I believe the special session is an opportune time to do two things regarding energy development impacts. First, I believe we should immediately add $50 million to the Oil and Gas Impact Fund to help the counties and communities impacted by oil development.
Second, the state should create a ‘Lasting Harvest’ commission to address the long term needs of energy-impact areas. Continue Reading
