N.D. raising statewide northern pike limit to five effective April 1

The existing pike limit is three, with a possession limit of six, everywhere except for Benson, Eddy and Ramsey counties and Stump Lake, all of which already have a pike limit of five daily, with 10 in possession.

Tag return sheds light on old northern pike

The female northern pike was 33 inches long when fisheries crews from the Department of Natural Resources in Baudette, Minn., tagged her May 3, 1996 in Zippel Bay of Lake of the Woods.
