It appears the village of North Hudson could have two vacant trustee seats entering the April election.
President George Klein and trustee Dan Ortner have both filed non-candidacy papers. Trustee Stan Wekkin has filed papers to run for village president. If Wekkin is elected (it appears he is the only candidate for the post), it could leave open both the trustee seats of Wekkin and Ortner. Continue Reading

North Hudson Village President George Klein announced last week that he will not seek re-election as village president in the April 2013 election.
The announcement came at the Nov. 8 monthly board meeting.
