Barns and quilts are two of the images perhaps most associated with rural life. Today through Sunday, a tour of quilts painted on eight-foot wooden panels and hung on barns will debut near Michigan, N.D.
This tiny Nelson County town boasts a population of two four during the summer months but it was difficult to tell Friday afternoon when more than 300 showed up to celebrate the town’s centennial.
(WDAZ-TV) – Crews were tearing out roads in Nelson County on Wednesday to install culverts as part of the Tolna Coulee. That construction will hopefully relieve some flooding issues, but is getting in the way of everyday life for rural residents.
