SOS Gant: Petitions for 1 percent sales tax hike turned in

Officials from the South Dakota Education Association and the South Dakota Association of Health Care Organizations appeared at the South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office today to turn in petitions for a measure to place a 1 percent sales tax increase on the 2012 ballot, SD Secretary of State Jason Gant announced Tuesday morning.
