UND took 21 players to a building and city where nobody on the current team has won a game. But a legion of Sioux fans packed Magness Arena, started cheering and chanting a half an hour before the game and the team made themselves at home.
Stephane Pattyn’s first goal of the season was the game-winner as North Dakota beat Wisconsin 5-3 in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game on Friday.
