Hoeven: Private investment may help with infrastructure needs

Area leaders met with North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven at Dickinson Public Library on Monday and expressed the area’s need for infrastructure.
Hoeven said one possible way of easing the area’s infrastructure strain could be through private investment.

BISMARCK Dickinson Mayor Dennis Johnson and his wife were among hundreds incorrectly enrolled at Dickinson State University in 2010, officials said during a hearing in Bismarck on Friday.
Dickinson’s recent growth may already be challenging the city’s resources, but officials said Tuesday that building permit numbers have increased significantly and the city could see more growth before the end of the year.
