Disappointed with recent letter-writer
To the Editor:
I read with interest and disappointment the letter to the editor on Saturday, Jan. 22, written by Stacy Nettinga regarding the city’s outdoor skating area.
This is a case where Stacy wrote to the public without knowledge regarding the city’s outdoor skating rink. The city has provided outdoor public skating at Munroe Park for many years. This year, it was moved to the Activities Center area, with my approval, for personal efficiencies, off-street parking and the availability of a warming area and concession in the Activities Center.
