Building permits were on the grow in 2010

More building permits were issued in Mitchell in 2010 than any year since 2006, and those projects had a greater value than any year since 2005.
“We’re busy,” Mitchell Building Official/Inspector John Hegg said. “Always busy this year.”
The city collected $70,006.93 in permit fees, the highest amount in the last six years. These numbers indicate a revitalized local economy as the area, state and country struggle to emerge from the great recession. Continue Reading
