Fringe presidential candidate makes stop in Mitchell

Mitchell wasn’t a long campaign stop for John Davis.
Davis, 54, a builder from Grand Junction, Colo., who bills himself as “a conservative Republican choice” for president of the United States, rolled into the parking lot of the Pizza Ranch ahead of his scheduled 3:41 p.m. time Thursday.
His mobile campaign office is a 43-foot motor home wrapped in high-graphic patriotism and the slogan “In God We Trust.”
