Jimmies impressive in home-opener

Home debuts at the Civic Center went quite nicely for the Jimmies this week.
Greg Ulland and his young JC women’s squad got their first win of the season with an impressive 78-71 win over Mount Marty, S.D., Friday night, two days after the Jimmie men beat Division II Minnesota-Crookston.
It was a very encouraging performance for Ulland’s team, who played 14 girls, 11 of whom scored.

Jimmies wrap season with a win

Jamestown College finished the season similar to the way they started.
They scored a bunch of points and won.
The middle part of the 2010 campaign was a little shaky, but in the end the Jimmies closed on a four-game winning streak, capped by a 48-14 win over Mayville State on Sunday at the DAC Bowl in the Fargodome.
