The day before her high school graduation, she hopped in a car to meet him at his baseball game. Back and forth the two texted each other, the boy giving Mariah directions to the ball diamond.

Jamestown High School’s Jordan Lynch has been named to the Class AAA all-state second team.
Lynch, the Blue Jays dual-threat quarterback, accounted for over 1,100 yards of offense during his senior season. He ran for 659 yards and five touchdowns and threw for 482 and five scores.
Lynch was also named to the all-West Region team as both a quarterback and punter. Continue Reading

Jamestown’s Alison Allmer can often be spotted trotting along the streets of Jamestown. But on Saturday, the sophomore runner will be navigating the hills of Hillcrest Golf Course while competing in the state Class A girls’ cross country meet her fourth straight time competing at the state’s most prominent high school cross country meet.

A successful tournament, backed up by a dominating West Region road win, currently has the Jamestown Blue Jay volleyball team smiling.
The Jays split six matches at the Fargo Invitational last weekend avenging three losses to teams the Jays had previously fallen to this season and went on to blank the Bismarck St. Mary’s Saints 3-0 in Bismarck on Thursday night.
