The recent washout of two holes at Jamestown Country Club won’t keep the state’s longest running charity golf tournament from happening next month.
The 29th Annual Anne Carlsen Center Benefit Golf Tournament will be played Aug. 6 at the Country Club, which had holes No. 6 and 7 washed away on Monday when a pond on a neighboring property washed out, sending water, rocks and debris across the course.
