WORTHINGTON Nobles County commissioners granted authorization Tuesday for its public works department to pursue additional measures to improve safety at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 35 and Nobles County 13 north of Rushmore.
A three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oxford and McMillian streets shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon resulted in minor injuries. The Worthington Police and Fire departments, the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol and Worthington Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene.

WILLMAR Additional signs and reflective delineators on curves will be installed on the newly-opened Business 71 intersection at Kandiyohi county Road 24 and 23rd Street Northeast in Willmar, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation’s District 8 Office in Willmar on Tuesday officially opened the recently completed U-turn, no-left-turn intersection at Business 71, Kandiyohi County Road 24/23rd Street Northeast near the Health and Human Services Building.
WILLMAR A misunderstanding or miscommunication between three government entities that are involved with a project to create a safer intersection near the Kandiyohi County law enforcement building has been resolved.
Some Grand Forks intersections will be getting busier over the next month, as the traffic lights will be temporarily powered down for upgrades.
