BISMARCK (AP) North Dakota has one of the nation’s weakest laws against animal cruelty, activists said while submitting a citizen initiative Tuesday that would make it a felony to severely mistreat a cat, dog or horse.
BISMARCK (AP) In their efforts to get on the November ballot, those shepherding some of North Dakota’s new crop of voter initiatives relied on paid petition carriers, most notably a proposal to reserve a share of the state’s oil tax revenue for wildlife, parks and wetlands projects.
West Central Initiative has officially unveiled a new logo.
It was for a practical reason that architect Andrew Bjur of Engan and Associates in Willmar put in the effort to add “LEED certified” to his list of credentials.
