Judy Meincke began her teaching career in Hudson in 1976. That very first year after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, she took a job as a kindergarten teacher at the then Fourth Street School, now the site of Willow River Elementary.
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Hudson conducted its semiannual roadside cleanup on May 11. This spring’s cleanup was bigger than normal with a large amount of fast food wrappers, soft drink cans and beer bottles. The community is invited to remember family and friends who have died by attending the annual ADORAY Hospice Memorial Program on Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m. The non-denominational program is being held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 503 County UU, Hudson. Everyone is welcome. ADORAY Hospice takes this time to honor and remember patients who have died on their hospice service during the past year.
