Is Alexandria one of the prettiest painted places in America? It’s in the running for the honor.

The Osakis High School yearbook program has been named a 2012 Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence, one of only 250 schools out of 18,000 Jostens programs in the nation so honored.
Abbott House, a Mitchell-based residential treatment center for girls gave awards as part of the Ernie Peters Day Celebration banquet at the County Fair Banquet Hall.
