Police announced a suspect has been arrested, following the investigation of the St. Croix Central Elementary School fire at a community meeting held by the St. Croix Central School District to update parents and community members on the latest developments regarding the efforts being made to resume classes. Long serving officers of municipalities in St. Croix County were recognized by the board of supervisors March 7. Starting in early 2013, some Hammond residents may have to go farther to get to the bank. Associated Bank announced Hammond was one of 10 branches being closed in Wisconsin.
