After questions about parking, the topic that causes Kristi Stokes to cringe the most has to be the nine publicly owned sidewalk clocks that dot Duluth’s center. Questions about their upkeep returned this week because the News Tribune received a letter to the editor (published on today’s page) complaining that the three-faced clock tower at the entrance of Canal Park doesn’t keep accurate time. All three of its faces are wrong. None of them are even close.
