Event safety top priority for Grandma’s Marathon

In the wake of events earlier this week, officials have been working feverishly to understand who detonated two bombs near the Boylston Street finish line of the Boston Marathon. Three people were killed and scores were injured when the devices exploded, sending the bombs contents and glass from nearby shop windows into the crowds of bystanders.
