“Kids Shopping with Santa” in Grafton, N.D., offers children a chance to experience the joy of giving, instead of always being on the receiving end. It also offers developmentally disabled people, who help run the event, a way to integrate into the community.
The North Dakota Supreme Court ventured out of its usual setting Tuesday and instead presided over the Baker Courtroom in the UND School of Law. A packed courtroom greeted the five justices, who arrived at the school to hear oral arguments for two cases, one an attempted murder case in Grafton, N.D.
