City Council members confirmed the results of Tuesday’s vote for mayor, council, Park Board. Council also voted on transfer of liquor license for owners of Crosstown Lounge.
Curt Kreun, elected to the Grand Forks City Council in 2000, also is a District 43 Republican representative in the North Dakota Legislature. He said he would continue to serve there.
Eliot Glassheim, a Grand Forks City Council member since 1982, said in a news release he will not seek re-election this June. He will run for another term to the North Dakota House of Representatives, where the Democrat first served a term in 1975. Voters returned him to the House in 1993, and he’s been a state representative in District 18 since.
