Utimate Frisbee: A spectator’s primer

Ultimate Frisbee is essentially a mix of basketball and football.
Teams of seven compete against one another, beginning with a “kick-off” which mirrors a football game’s beginning. Afterward, teams receive and begin passing to each other.

Register for Ultimate Frisbee

Registration for the River Falls Ultimate Co-Ed league is now open.
The league runs Aug. 21-Oct. 23 and games are played on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. on the fields behind Greenwood Elementary School. Cost is $17 ($20 after Aug. 8). Fees include a t-shirt, a custom gift, and post-season party. Continue Reading
