Fargo police target seat belt use during traffic safety blitz

FARGO – Police here handed out 63 seat belt tickets during two traffic safety blitzes earlier this week, and a third blitz is scheduled for Friday.

The crackdown is being conducted with a grant from the North Dakota Department of Transportation as part of the “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

Officers issued 95 citations – 32 for seat belt violations – during a blitz Monday in the 3200 block of 12th Avenue North. Continue reading…
