U of M study raises new worries about flu at fairs

A study, released Wednesday, comes on the heels of recent reports that more than 150 people in other parts of the country have contracted a new type of swine flu, apparently after contact with pigs at state or county fairs. Continue Reading
Tickets are $81, $71 and $51 and will go on sale at 1 p.m. Saturday through the State Fair’s box office and Etix.com.
Many Minnesota State Fair attendees who stopped at the state House and Senate booths to fill out their annual State Fair polls and others who greeted Dayton and U.S. Sen. Al Franken as the Democratic office-holders strolled the grounds on the first day of the Fair.
