Spring Valley High School’s track and field teams didn’t run their first meet until the end of April even though the season began almost a month an half earlier. But Monday’s WIAA Division 3 Boyceville Regional the Cardinal boys and girls teams were finally at their best.
The Elmwood baseball and the Elmwood/Plum City softball team played close contestes against Alma/Pepin Thursday.
After finishing 1-2 last year in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference team standings, both the Elmwood/Plum City and Spring Valley squads fell back in the 2013 conference meet held Tuesday at St. Croix Central.
Elmwood/Plum City’s softball team won an important Dunn-St. Croix Conference doubleheader Monday over rival Spring Valley.
The theme was Country Nights for Elmwood High School’s spring prom of 2013. Members of the court are Bryce Bock and Heidi Webb; Colin Arneson and Danielle Martineau; D.J Wheeler and Tessa Olson; Roger Connell and JiHyun Son; Tyler Freyholtz and Leonie Resner.
Nearly half of the field at Tuesday afternoon’s prep track and field meet at St. Croix Central High School came from Pierce County.
