Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are calling it quits after five years of marriage. Cruise, 49, wed the 33-year-old Holmes in 2006 in an Italian castle after publicly declaring his love on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” emphatically jumping on her couch.
TACOMA, Wash. (AP) A county corrections officer in Washington state has been charged with bigamy after Facebook discovered two women were connected to him and suggested they might want to be “friends.”
The 36-year-old comedian said today: “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
Attorneys for Humphries filed a petition Thursday in Los Angeles to annul the couple’s brief marriage, citing unspecified fraud. The filings do not contain any detailed explanation of why a judge should determine the couple’s opulent, highly publicized wedding should be stricken from the books.
