The new Stillwater Area School District’s Early Childhood Family Center (ECFC) held a grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 30. The center houses istrict 834′s Early Childhood and Family Education and Early Childhood Special Education programs as well as Courage Center St. Croix and Northeast Metro Intermediate District 916′s early childhood auditory/oral program.
The candidates for the District 834 School Board race are incumbents Kathy Buchholz, George Dierberger and Mike Ptacek and challenger Amy Burback.
After the first day of candidate filing, only one candidate has thrown their name into the ring in the District 834 School Board race.
Valley Crossing Community School principal Mary Anderson has taken a position with the Stillwater Area School District as the executive director of elementary curriculum, leadership and innovation.
