Flood survivors needing help cleaning out their soggy homes would call a hotline run by her organization. A volunteer with expertise in flood clean up will drop by to assess how much work is needed and report back. The organization then assembles a team of volunteers, led by another cleanup expert, with enough manpower to get the work done.
