Architecture is once again taking center stage in a city founded by railroad companies, nurtured by farmers and booming because of oil.
While much of the past century’s building design in Dickinson was utilitarian and common of the prairie surrounding it. In an era bursting with technology, some area rural residents are still without such luxuries, but after Consolidated Telecom officially announced its plans for federal funding during a presentation in Dickinson Wednesday morning, slow Internet speeds will be a thing of the past.
HOLLOWAY Firefighters from eight different departments extinguished a fire Thursday at the Western Consolidated Cooperative’s grain handling facility in Holloway and prevented it from spreading to a large, grain storage facility.
