Creating a video about transforming dinosaur toys landed a family from Cavalier, N.D., an early Christmas present a five-year supply of toys.
Craig McFadden of Cavalier, N.D., fell into the world of online video-sharing at the right time. After graduating from Cavalier High School in 2005, he moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area to attend Stanford University. While there, his academic advisor got him a job as an intern with a small start-up company called YouTube.
Town likely breaks ice cream record
They have an aluminum rain gutter more than 600 feet long, and they plan to run it down the middle of Main Street in Cavalier Saturday. They will fill it with ice cream and serve up sundaes probably around noon for all who show up. They are seeking to break a record for this sort of event and have contacted the Guinness Book of World Records. They tell me the current record is 321 feet.
