GREGORY Gregory Mayor Dan DeSmet is hoping for a good turnout of Gregory and area residents to today’s Capital for a Day in Gregory.
DeSmet said it is a great honor for the community to showcase some of the projects the city has accomplished with state funding.
Those projects include a nearly finished 12-block concrete pedestrian path from the hospital past the school, in which $260,000 in stimulus funds were used, and roads and infrastructure for the city’s industrial park created with state funding five to six years ago on Highway 18 just east of town.
