County board goes ahead with road repairs

The Stutsman County Commission moved forward on repairing and continuing upkeep of some of the county’s roads at its meeting Tuesday.
Commissioners unanimously approved engineering agreements for three sections of County Road 67 for $11,591, $12,138 and $31,393 all on portions of the road south of Cleveland.

FVA rejects compromise on manager pay

The Frontier Village Association voted 4-0 Monday to turn down a compromise offered by the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation.
The compromise was an offer of 18 weeks of funding for the FVA’s manager position, rather than the requested eight months of funding. BCTF denied that request April 20, after conflict involving the position arose between the two organizations.
