What a waste! $100,000,000 for a place that will sit empty most of the time?
Fairgrounds are a thing of the past and we are not ‘rural’ enough anymore to support this.
There isn’t a rodeo here in the west that makes money.
We can’t fill the hockey building with most events.
And the biggest issue? They don’t have a clue how to fund it!

I’m also concerned about a $100 million dollar price tag for a venue that will only seat 5,500 people? Even Bismarck has trouble attracting major concerts and events because they can only seat around 10,000 people. Fargo gets them because they can seat anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000. If Bismarck can’t attract a major event, how in the heck will Dickinson?
