The first day of the partial federal government shutdown saw several agencies here closing their doors while members of the public reacted with confusion and anger.

The debt limit has been raised several times to avoid a shutdown. I am very disappointed that our elected govt officials are too busy blaming each other, while the runaway spending continues. A debt limit that is exceeded should be a red flag for all voters. The govt is spending more than they have available. Stop spending more money than we have coming in! It works at home, and needs to be done in the govt.

As long as we are on this topic I want to respond to the article by a certain person about OBAMACARE, my friend’s insurance went up from app. $350 monthly to app. $539 monthly with a deductible that is out of reach, for this person’s information we are not in favor of or will we ever be in favor of OBAMACARE, it can’t be called the Affordable Care Act cause it’s not and please quit telling us what we are suppose to like and eventually will like, this is America yet (I think) and we still have rights (I think).
