A grand jury does not convict someone . They decide if charges should be brought. A trial jury convicts a person.
Judge Margaret Chutich is an appeals court judge, not a county judge.
The appeal resulted in the county court trial findings being affirmed, not dismissed. If it was dismissed, there would not have been a response other than the appeals court will not hear his argument. The appeals court heard his argument .
